Some programs may also require prerequisite coursework in biology, chemistry, psychology, and math. Once admitted into a PTA program, students will complete coursework and clinical rotations to prepare them for their future career. Coursework generally includes topics such as human anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and medical terminology.
